Nau mai haere mai ki te Westown Kindergarten.

At Westown Kindergarten we value Kotahitanga (togetherness and unity), Manaakitanga (hospitality and generosity), Whanaungatanga (relationships and belonging), and Whakatipu (growth and learning).

We aspire for children to learn and grow to their full potential. Our experienced kaiako follow strengths and interests of tamariki to extend and challenge them. Our environment is a safe space to explore, experiment and have fun!

We embrace the bicultural heritage of Aotearoa, New Zealand, and are warm and welcoming of our diverse and multicultural community. Our staff are nurturing, supportive, and connected with whānau/families in our community.

Westown Kindergarten is situated within its community. The outdoor space is large and offers spaces to play, relax, and connect with nature. We have a range of productive fruit trees, and a māra kai. We are part of Taranaki Enviroschool’s, and encourage children to be kaitiaki of our environment.

We’d love to have you come and visit.
